{Anny + Michael @Isla Del Sol}
Time goes by SO fast! When I met Anny and Mike over a year ago they didn't even have a venue yet. They wanted a private/modern/chic but still coastal wedding and ended up going with my recommendation of Isla Del Sol and it turned out gorgeous! So, I've known them from the very beginning and we actually did their engagement session 366 days befor their wedding. I LOVE the color scheme Anny chose with the girls in aqua dresses and bright colorful florals. The girls each wore different beige shoes and the boys had black and white Adidas. They are from Chicago and huge Bears fans so just a little subtle detail of a Bears helmet on both Anny's bouquet and Michael's boutennier and the garter was perfect. I was mostly with the girls before ceremony, but got to see Michael just before and could feel how excited and nervous he was. Just after the bridesmaids processed down the aisle I was kind of hidden in the front to get his face as he saw Anny for the first time and just before he did looked right over at me and smiled, it's one of my favorite shots from their wedding:-) As she made the walk over to where the ceremony was going to be and he could see her in the distance looking stunning and walking with her dad, it was like it took his breath away and I got a picture of him right as a tear was welling up in his eye, seriously so sweet! The rain stayed away the entire day except just while we were under the trees doing their pictures and I even caught some of the sprinkles in the off camera light. The reception room was accented with aqua uplighting, crushed white linens and chivari chairs. They danced the night away and it was so much fun!! Thanks Anny and Mike for allowing us to capture your special day:-) xoxoxo
