{Brittany & Cody @Bird Island Lake Ranch}
December is the perfect month in Florida for an outdoor wedding! Brittany and Cody's wedding was a country rustic theme with the colors being turquoise, burlap and yellow. Everyone was in boots including the adorable ring bearers and flower girl. Brittany gave both her mom and Dad very special gifts as they were getting ready. Pastor Marvin Strickland was not only their officiant but also Brittany's parents' officiant at their wedding as well. Their ceremony was under the oak tree overlooking the lake. Their grandparents are very important to them and they had pictures of them on their sand ceremony table. Brittany also wore her great grandmother's pearls. The girls arrived in Cody's big red pickup truck to walk down the aisle. Cody had been planning a little joke for the ceremony:-) When Pastor Strickland asked the best man for the rings, he pulled out a ring pop, but he did actually have the real rings! The reception was all outside with boots and sunflower center pieces. Their cake was amazing, chocolate and peanut butter with peanut butter cups on each layer. Cody loves the Rays, Florida and fishing so his grooms' cake incorporated all those things. Brittany changed into a fun, short dress to dance the night away. Congrats Brittany and Cody!!! xoxoxo
