{Melissa & Kevin @ The Hyatt Sarasota}

You never know how or when you will meet your soul mate.  Melissa and Kevin were both traveling, and all of the flights were grounded because of a snow storm. They happened to be standing in the same cab line.  Kevin noticed Melissa right away and struck up a conversation with her.  Numbers were exchanged, and shortly after they began talking and seeing one another, and the rest is history! They live in Ohio, and Melissa's family has a beautiful condo in Siesta Key right on the beach.  They had the rehearsal there, and Melissa's mom, Annette, had a sand sculpture custom made with their names and date, it was pretty amazing. After the girls were all ready, Melissa and her dad randomly practiced their first dance in the living room, those are always some of my favorite moments!  When we went out to the beach, two of their guests were still enjoying the sunshine and happened to be wearing the same swim trunks:-)  Kevin's daughter Cailin was a bridesmaid, and his son Brady was a junior groomsman.  During the ceremony they did a family sand ceremony each filling the Mayer family vase.  Guests enjoyed cocktails out on the pool deck before being welcomed into the grand ballroom for the reception.  The details were simple and elegant.  Purple uplighting, white florals, and burlap runners on the tables with sage linens.  Melissa danced with her dad and Kevin also danced with his daughter Cailin, it was so sweet!  Apparently, Kevin was the star quarterback in high school and during the toasts the guys had a jersey for him.  The band had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Everyone, including Melissa's grandpa, danced the night away. Congrats Melissa and Kevin! xoxoxo
