Melissa and Michael are from Southern Maryland. Together, with their friends and family, they had a destination wedding at the Sheraton Sand Key. Their wedding date, August 18, is actually their 5-year dating Anniversary!  Melissa hand-made the beautiful flower girl's dress, along with the entire wedding decor! Many of her quests told her she could have a career in decorating.
     The theme of the wedding was appropriately "beach casual". Beautiful colors of grey, aqua, and white set the tone. The girls wore knee length aqua dresses, and the maid of honor wore a matching dress in grey. The guys, and Michael's sister Brandi, were in true beach casual with khaki shorts and white linen shirts. All went barefoot of course!
     The ceremony was on the beach with an isle of starfish leading to the alter. The weather could not have been more perfect! Shortly after the ceremony, the newlyweds joined their cocktail party on the side pool lawn before entering their reception. The bridal party was excited to learn that they were sharing a hotel with the stars of Dolphin Tale 2! The celebrities were holding their press junket in the banquet hall adjacent to theirs!
