{Kimberly & Erik @ The Westin Tampa Bay}

Kimberly planned so many personal & fun little surprises for Erik and their entire bridal party.  Erik LOVES the Red Sox and she secretly decorated the guys suite with all kinds of Boston swag!  Kimberly had her grandmother's broach on her bouquet, and on the Jr. Bridesmaids' bouquets a custom charm with a message from Kimberly for their weddings' someday. Kimberly had a red rose attached to her bouquet that she gave her dad right before he gave her away.  Instead of a unity candle they put together pieces of a cross.  Pastor Dave explained the meaning of each piece, and it's something they will always have in their home to remember their wedding day.  It was a beautiful evening for cocktails on the rooftop terrace of the Westin. The reception decor was stunning, not to mention the view of the sun setting over the bay! Beige linens with gold chargers and white alternating tall and short orchids decorated each table. They had a little bells for guests to ring for a kiss. In lieu of favors, they had cards that their guests could choose a charity that Kimberly & Erik would donate to in their name.  One tradition we don't see very often but I love (I did it at my wedding:-) is the cake charm pull. There were little envelopes with ribbons attached at the base of the cake. Kimberly's girls each got to choose one, and inside was a charm each with a different meaning and positive message. Kimberly even had Jessica, her event planner, and Kristina, the catering manager choose one!  Right after they cut their cake, Erik was surprised with an AMAZING Boston Red Sox cake!  Kimberly changed into a 2nd dress with aqua heels for their choreographed first dance. Instead of the garter and bouquet, they had an anniversary dance and the couple married the longest, which ended up being Kimberly's Aunt & Uncle, were given a bouquet that was made from pages of the book Pride & Prejudice.  The ice sculpture was filled with dessert shots and the servers passed all different little gourmet chocolates. Kimberly had a basket of dancing slippers in little gold pouches for the ladies and dance the night away, and they sure did!!! Congrats Erik & Kimberly!!!!
