{Sara & John @ Shady Oak Farm}

Sara and John’s wedding style was classic, southern elegance with a gold, orange, and purple color palette.  The first person we saw when we got to the hotel for getting ready was John’s brother, Noah, he introduced himself as the best man and you could tell how happy and excited he was for his brother. Sara wore her mom’s veil and they custom ordered the same lace that was on her gown so that it matched perfectly.  John had handwritten letters for Sara to read at different times starting Friday night, his last one her dad gave to her just before she walked down the aisle.  She had a pretty special surprise gift she had hand delivered to John as well. The entire bridal party wore cowboy boots since Sara has always loved horses and the reception was on her parents’ beautiful 5 acre estate, Shady Oaks Farm.  Once she was bridal ready, we did a first look with her mom and bridesmaids and then dad. Still gets me every time! Just before the processional started Noah fixed Father Pelligrino’s robe and then it was go time.  The priest said everyone was so happy when they found out these 2 were dating because they are such a perfect match!  The backdrop of mossy oak trees and lake was so gorgeous!  The reception was under a white tent with gold linens and and white, purple, and orange florals with accents of wheat and sunflowers.  They had custom white and red Wedded Wine on each table and the favors were jars of honey that said “Meant to Be”.  It was an amazing party and celebration with their friends and family and we so enjoyed it!  Congrats Sara and John!!! xoxoxo
