{Deetra & Roy @ Carrollwood Country Club}

Deetra and Roy had one of those "lucky" wedding days where the forecast did not agree with their plan to have an outdoor ceremony. You always hear that, so I had to look up why.  Rain on your wedding day officially signifies fertility, unity, cleansing, and renewal (this is my favorite one - starting a new fresh chapter).  I have to say, Deetra was so happy and excited to marry Roy she didn't care about the rain for one second!  She looked so gorgeous in her white, lace accented gown and silver sparkly heels.  Everything came down to the moment Roy saw her walk down that aisle!  They said their I do's in front of the twinkle lights on the dance floor.  Both their families participated in the sand ceremony and a prayer.  Thankfully, the rain stopped so we could do almost all their photos outside.  Roy has 3 daughters, and a son, so now they are a family of 6! Their personalities compliment each other so well, Roy is more the serious one and Deetra is the funny one:-) Hence the serious groomsmen photo with the girls photo bombing them in the background!  The reception was decorated all in white with blue and yellow accents. Their favors were a chocolate record that said "For the Record" with their names and date.  Their families were a part of their father daughter, mother son dances and along with the toasts, their guests got to share some fun memories with everyone as well.  It was a perfectly fun and beautiful day!  Congrats Roy and Deetra!!! xoxoxo
