Women of Influence 2016

The Women of Influence Luncheon this year, was the biggest one yet, over 1000 people (mostly women but a few brave men:-) at the Hilton Downtown Tampa.  This is the 7th year in a row I've photographed this event with the Greater Tampa Chamber, and it is always one of my favorites.  Dr. Judy Genshaft presented the 2016 Dottie Berger MacKinnon Woman of Influence Award to Rhea Law.  Gay Gaddis, CEO and founder of T3, which is the largest independent women-owned advertising agency in the US was the keynote speaker.  Back when she started her company in 1989 she wrote her mission statement on a napkin "Kick-ass work for clients who want to kick-ass".  I have to say I love this statement and feel the same in terms of what we do.  How about "Kick-ass photography for clients who want photos that kick-ass."  Gay was so interesting and energizing, it was awesome.
