Armature Works Rooftop 220 Sweet 16 | Lexi

What could be a cooler setting for a sweet 16 than a rooftop in Tampa? It’s safe to say Lexi agreed! She was joined by her family and friends as she celebrated her milestone birthday at Armature Works’ Rooftop 220. The venue is highlighted by a downstairs public market, industrial style, and indoor-outdoor spaces, plus the views of the city, especially when it glows at night, cannot be beat.

Before the party was officially underway, the rooftop was unveiled to Lexi. One of our favorite details was what everyone wore! The theme was so cool, “Little White Lies” where family member and friend donned a white t-shirt complete with black writing with a funny anecdote about something that does (or does not!) describe them. Lexi’s said, “I’m not extra.”

As guests arrived, they were invited to sip on mocktails (duh, as the sign says!), jump into the Enchanted Mirror photo booth, and choose a glow stick creation to wear on the dance floor. Family and friends munched on a buffet menu created by Good Food Catering. Then it was time for heartfelt speeches from Lexi’s parents.

A sweet 16 would not be complete without a full dance floor, and Lexi’s friends packed the space as DJ Grant Hemond kept the songs coming. A conga line definitely happened, and it was so much fun to watch as Lexi smiled with those she loves the most as her party glowed around her.

Before guests departed, everyone enjoyed cake by Artistic Whisk and filled bags with candy from Lexi’s candy bar. It was the perfect way to end a sweet night!
