Jen and John's Greek Wedding Ceremony at St. John the Baptist was an absolute dream. The day started at The Westshore Grand hotel, conveniently located just across the atrium from the Centre Club. Jen’s mom and sister helped her get in that gorgeous gown before a first look with her bridesmaids and dad, culminating in a shared shot of Ouzo that set the tone for the festivities.
One of the things I love most about Greek weddings is the unique opportunity to be on the altar, capturing every moment of their cherished traditions. Being so close to the action provides a captivating view of the altar and the guests in the background. The burgundy, gold, and blush color palette perfectly complemented the fall ambiance, especially against the backdrop of the Centre Club's outdoor garden and the ornate setting of the ceremony.
John and the groomsmen looked dashing in classic black tuxes with burgundy accents, while the bridesmaids rocked elegant long burgundy dresses. The sweetheart table was adorned with a greenery wall, featuring a neon sign proudly displaying their new last name. Although their dog Zelda didn't make it to the wedding, she made a memorable appearance in their engagement photos. It was amusing to learn during the toasts that Jen, who didn't grow up with pets and wasn't initially a fan of dogs, had a change of heart after meeting John. Zelda may not have been physically present, but her spirit graced the cocktail napkins.
As the evening unfolded, the dance floor came alive with the lively Kalamatiano, and the celebration continued with unabated energy. The highlight of the reception was undoubtedly their adorable ring bearer, stealing the spotlight with undeniable charm. It was a day filled with special moments and beautiful memories, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of Jen and John's love story. Congratulations once again to this wonderful couple!
