Grand Hyatt New Skylark Ballroom and Rooftop - Wedding | Sara & Javaris

We’ve done quite a few weddings at the Grand Hyatt in all their beautiful spaces including Armani’s which use to be their rooftop restaurant. Sara and Javaris reserved that space while it was under construction for their wedding. They had no idea what the colors, decor, or finishes would look like but choose dusty blue, white, and silver accents and WOW on point as it matched this new space perfectly!! Grand Hyatt kept the amazing views and all the windows. They opened up the space and made it light and bright with white paint and I LOVE that wallpaper and the bubbly light fixtures.

I have so enjoyed getting to know Sara and Javaris over the last year as they were planning, they are just the sweetest and so much fun! You may have seen their save the date was the movie poster from Mr. & Mrs. Smith since that’s their new last name and their wedding #THEMrandMrsSmith

Sara had gotten her girls matching robes with their names and slippers for getting ready, fun fact we learned when popping the champagne: if the cork happens to break off, shake it up and it will pop out on it’s own:-) So many sweet and emotional moments, from first look with the girls after Sara’s mom helped her get ready to Javaris’ first look with Sara and then a new one was a first look with the groomsmen. They were on the fence on doing a first look and I’m SO glad they did so we could use these gorgeous spaces before the wedding as after the ceremony, the cocktail hour was going to be in that space.

That round ceremony arch with florals and draping was the perfect backdrop for their I Do’s and then for behind their sweetheart table. You’ll see their custom cake topper goes along with their wedding # as well:-) That brand new space was the perfect spot and after their entrance and first dance we went outside after sunset and got the most gorgeous colorful sky with the view of the bay and downtown Tampa. It was the perfect evening and we loved being there!! xoxox
