Heather + Chris's Grasslands Golf & Country Club Wedding | Lakeland Wedding Photographer

Heather and Chris hosted their wedding day at the Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland, FL. Their venue choice was a really personal and special selection because Chris' parents live there and Heather's grandmother lives close by.  Heather’s grandmother is 99 years young!!!  She loves them both of them so much and watching them interact on the day was beautiful! After the ceremony we captured photos of the three of them, as well as in pairs and it was seriously adorable! You’ll see at the end of this post that Heather even did a special dance with her Grandmother during the reception. So sweet!

Heather prepped for the day with her mom and bonus daughter- it was a casual, easy-going afternoon before heading onto the lawn for the nuptials.

Don’t you just love Heather’s pearl covered shoes? So fun, yet a nod to a classic.

As we mentioned earlier, Grandma Mildred is the cutest!

The couple’s cocktail hour reception kicked-off around 4:30pm- which is perfect timing for a November wedding! Still plenty of daylight for us to get beautiful daytime photos, but also close enough to sunset for us to get the beautiful “golden hour” glow.

The ballroom at Grasslands Golf & Country Club has such pretty natural light from their wall of windows. The couples eggplant and eucalyptus color selections worked beautifully in the space!
