Casper's Service Company Wedding | Jana & Chuck
Ok, this one is going to be hard to keep short. Jana has been one of my longest time friends in Tampa, she owns Events in Bloom and we became fast friends over 10 years ago when we were first starting out. I met Chuck when they first started dating 10 years ago on a photo shoot Jana and I were doing. Chuck carried my gear around and was so nice and I knew they were meant to be! There have been a few of us (Alla Levin:-) that have been trying to get them married off for quite a few years now. So, I was beyond ecstatic to be a guest and have Miriam (one of our amazing lead photographers) photograph their wedding!!
If you know Jana, she is beyond creative and didn’t want anything traditional. She and Christal, from CKG Events literally came up with the most amazing wedding ever! Jana and Chuck wanted their closest friends and family (and something inside since it was July:-) So, they chose Casper’s Service Company which is actually an industrial test kitchen! Their ceremony was inside with clear ghost chairs and the fabulous and wonderful Nancy Spooner who officiated a beautiful and fun ceremony with coordinated vows. I honestly can’t put the happiness they had and we all had for them into words so you just have to look……..
The reception was family style with these gorgeous florals and branches along with kind of feathery unique details. Their escort cards were everyone’s names cutout in gold both on the chargers and on champagne glasses for the toast. Jana makes all kind of awesome signs and 2 of them were my favorite, Eat Drink & Remarry and “Too smart to leave her so we’re makin’ her a Weaver.” The best part was the reception was an interactive dinner with Chef Nathan from Steelbach. He explained every course, how and why he chose the ingredients and it was SO good we could have stopped after h'orderves but then there was salad, main, and dessert. You all know I’m obsessed with dessert and of course tried everything. Tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, sea salt chocolate chip cookies and CEREAL MILK. There were these little cups of chocolate milk and I told Chef Nathan it looked like when my kids soak their cocoa puffs. He was like, yeah, that’s exactly what it is, cocoa puffs soaked for 4 hours. It was so fun and we couldn’t be happier for the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Weaver!!
