{Jessica & Benny @ Our Lady of Perpetual Help and The Centre Club}
April 2017 is when I started getting to know Jessica, Benny and their wonderful families and just like that, their wedding was here! I have to tell you that I've had such a hard time choosing my favorite moments and even writing the words that can describe how amazing it was to be a part of. Jessica's cousins, Stephanie and Alexis along with all her girls were there to make sure everything was perfect! When I got there they had even put command hooks on the wall so we could hang all the dresses!!! Jessica had told me they had confetti for a fun pic with the girls and with their help of her Aunts in turned out perfectly (and without getting in anyone's hair or makeup:-). The lace gown she chose was absolutely stunning, I don't think she could have looked more gorgeous or happy! Benny surprised her with diamond earrings and a 2nd diamond wedding band and she surprised him with a pocket watch and socks that said "In case you get cold feet"!! Benny also wore cigar cufflinks. Jess also had a surprise gift for her dad (Slim as everyone calls him) after he say his little girl all ready. The color palette was light mauve with metallics of rose gold, copper, and gold with ivory. The bouquets even had mauve roses that perfectly matched the girls dresses. The afternoon light was so pretty coming through the stained glass for their ceremony at OLPH. One of my favorite photos is of Jess' mom putting her arms around her mom right before the doors opened up for James to walk Jess down the aisle. After the ceremony we headed to my absolutely favorite spot in Ybor to take photos. There's these brick columns across from where the Don Vicente was and no matter what time of day the light in there is so pretty! While we were doing photos their guests were enjoying signature drinks and deliciousness in the Centre Club lounge. The reception was decorated with greenery, florals, and gold everywhere. Each place setting on the head table had the wedding party's name cutout in gold with matching Mr. & Mrs. signs for the backs of Jess and Benny's chairs. They had a flip flop station that said "a little treat for your dancing feet". There was a even a rainbow during cocktail hour right outside! After the entrance and dances we snuck up to the rooftop of the Centre Club which is literally on the roof where you can see the sun set over the bay, pretty fantastic. DJ Papi definitely made it a party, Jess even got to spin some with him. With all that dancing everyone needed a little Root Beer Float break and before we knew it, it was time for their grand exit through a tunnel of all their favorite people waving ribbons. As a thank you to their guests, they had custom cigars and little packs of Krispie Kreme's for everyone. Jess, Benny, Elaine, James, Benito, Karen, Stephanie, Alexis and everyone we feel like a part of your family and couldn't be happier for #babababennyandthejess. I can't thank you enough for the honor of photographing it and getting to know you all!!! xoxoxxo
