Kristie & Geoff's Florida Aquarium Wedding

We knew as soon as we learned how Kristie and Geoff met (Roller Derby), that we were going to have a blast photographing their wedding. And we were right! Their wedding day was held at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. The day has so many memorable moments for us.

One of our favorite details were their really cool skates! Kristie and Geoff skated through the wetlands outside the aquarium AND had their first dance to "Shuf Up and Dance with Me" by Walk the Moon on skates too!

When we were taking our detail shots, it was a unique experience to have pretty pink bridal shoes and roller skates to capture. And a groomsmen in a kilt!

Their lively, vibrant decor in cobalt blue and royal purple coordinated perfectly with the aquarium's vibe and they found so many ways to incorporate it (cake, tablecloths, attire, florals and glassware). The head table pulled it all together for the reception, But the showpiece was Kristie's bouquet! What a stunner! The bold, cascading bouquet included statement making pink Stargazer lilies, blue + purple orchids, burgundy Calla Lily and blush roses. Bridesmaids carried a mix of white lilies, purple stock, blue orchids and blush roses.  So tropical and fun! 

Lastly, their mirroed digital seating chart signage was so neat! It was a great interactive option for guests - quite the conversation starter!

Kristie and Geoff planned a wedding that truly reflected their love story and their guests had a blast. Congrats again, you two!
