Clearwater Wedding | Meghan & Shaun

I’m almost caught up on blogging our weddings from the fall! I could say so much about Meghan and Shaun, they are one of the strongest most amazing couples that I personally know. Shortly after their engagement session both Shaun and Meghan’s moms passed away and then just a few weeks before their wedding Meghan’s dad also passed away. When I saw that had happened my heart completely broke for her and when I talked to her just after that she said they were determined to get married and have something amazing to celebrate. And, they certainly did! They ended up finding an Air B and B with a huge property where they could have their ceremony outside under a huge tree and pool deck for the reception. Shaun got ready at his dad’s house with all the guys, and Meghan surprised him wth cufflinks that had a picture of his mom and his brother, who had also passed. Even though some of their most important family members couldn’t be there in person they honored them in so many special ways. Shaun wore his mom’s engagement ring around his neck, and his wedding band was actually his dad, Joe’s wedding band. Meghan had pictures of her mom, dad, and sister who had also passed on her bouquet. In the front row of the ceremony there was a photo of each person on a seat who couldn’t be there and each of the wedding party put a single rose on their chairs as they walked down the aisle. The thing that struck me the most about the entire day was how the joy and love ran so incredible deep amid all they had gone through. The property was such a beautiful outdoor setting with lots of tall grass and trees and the sunset from the pool deck when they did their first dance was stunning! I could say so much more but I’ll stop so you can look at all the prettiness! We are so incredible grateful to have been there to capture this perfectly amazing day, thank you Meghan and Shaun for having us be a part of it! xoxoxo
