Sacred Heart & Centre Club Wedding | Katie + Hunter
Katie & Hunter had the most gorgeous wedding at Sacred Heart Church followed by cocktails and the reception at the Centre Club! I LOVE the colors they chose, the light blue with the different shades of pink and orange flowers were so stunning. Katie had rosary that was the perfect shade of blue to match the girls dresses wrapped around her bouquet and after her mom helped her get totally ready her girls had the best reaction as they saw her as a beautiful bride! One of the awesome things about Centre Club is that the Westshore Grand is just across the atrium and there’s a really beautiful garden right in between where Linda did the guys photos and we did their first look and wedding party photos before heading to Sacred Heart. Their flower girl Alexa was just the absolutely cutest and SO happy to be a part of it all!
Father Steve officiated a beautiful ceremony and I love that 2:00pm timeframe because the light coming through the stained glass is just so pretty! Katie and Hunter are both attorneys and fun fact about the Le Meridien next door to Sacred Heart is that it was the working downtown courthouse back in the day. The Marble facade and pillars always looks so amazing in photos! One of the things I love that they wanted to do that we haven’t done in a while is a photo of each of their wedding party with their significant other and Meridien was perfect for that. Another cool thing they did was a dove release with their wedding party before we headed over to the Centre Club.
Since we did a first look before the wedding, Katie and Hunter got to go to their cocktail hour and mingle with all their guests. That is my personal favorite thing about couples’ doing a first look because then they get to say hi to everyone during cocktail hour and totally can then soak in the reception as it flies by so quickly! Katie’s grandmother wasn’t able to come to the wedding but gifted them beautiful champagne flutes for their sweetheart table. Before Katie and Hunter met, Katie had a cat named Tracy and once of the reasons she knew Hunter was the one was because Tracy fell in love with Hunter. So they had to include Tracy in their special day which was by having her picture on the cocktail napkins! They took dance lessons and did an amazing first dance followed by the sweetest words by their parents and best friends. We snuck them out during dinner for some sunset photos on the pool deck and then everyone danced the night away. We had a blast are so happy for these 2! Congratulations again Katie and Hunter and thank you for having us be there to capture it!!
