Urban Stillhouse Wedding | Anne & Bill

Looking back, I realized that Anne has been my client since 2012! Over the years, I've had the pleasure of capturing several headshots and branding sessions for her. She always told me that when she and Bill got engaged, I would be her go-to photographer. And guess what? On June 10, 2023, their special day finally arrived at the stunning Urban Stillhouse in St. Pete.

Anne and Bill had a unique vision for their wedding – they wanted something that deviated from the traditional norms. I was thrilled because, firstly, I had been dying to photograph a wedding at Urban Stillhouse, and secondly, their idea perfectly aligned with my style. They envisioned an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family, exquisite cuisine, and an unforgettable party, all to be captured in a candid and photojournalistic manner. It was an absolute dream!

Before the ceremony, I started by photographing just the two of them. While they didn't opt for a traditional first look, the moment when Bill caught sight of Anne in her breathtaking gown was incredibly sweet. We had a full hour to explore the cool and unique locations within Urban Stillhouse before it opened to the public. The venue exuded a high-end moody ambiance with its diverse bar areas and captivating lighting. To maintain the authenticity of the surroundings, I primarily relied on my video light to add some illumination to the couple while preserving the atmospheric backdrop. The resulting photos were pure perfection, encapsulating the essence of Anne and Bill's love and the enchanting atmosphere of Urban Stillhouse.

Anne's son, Matt, was so sweet as he walked her down the aisle to meet Bill in front of the fireplace in the library. At the end of the ceremony, their officiant, Stacy, asked Anne and Bill to turn and face the gathering of loved ones who had come together to celebrate their union. It was a touching moment as the couple took a pause, looking into the eyes of their friends and family, feeling the immense love and support that surrounded them on this special day. Anne wanted some really cool and fun photos of her and her best friends and Bill and his best friends, the bar area and Bill toasting with his friends in black and white are just perfection. After the ceremony the Library was reset with the furniture and pool table which ended up being the perfect spot for Anne and her girls. Bill got in on them too and it was hilarious!

Anne and Bill's wedding was a true reflection of their love, friendship, and desire for a unique celebration. From the candid moments with their best friends to the heartfelt toasts, it was a day filled with joy and unforgettable memories. Cheers to Anne and Bill as they embark on their journey as a married couple, carrying the love and happiness from their wedding day throughout their lives together, thank you for having me be a part of it!! xoxo
