Westshore Yacht Club Wedding & OLPH Wedding | Ashley & Derek

Ashley and Derek were originally getting married in Baltimore where they live but after several postponements with all the covid craziness they decided to move their wedding to Tampa where Ashley is from and I am so glad they did!! I actually know her sister, Angel as a fellow wedding industry colleague so this was extra special to be able to capture all these amazing moments for their family! The bridesmaids wore yellow, which you don’t see often but I LOVED it, looked so amazing on all of them!! Their sweet pup, Harper, was with us for getting ready so of course we had to get her in the photos, she was even watching as Ashley had the finishing touches of her veil being put on before first look with her dad! In true Tampa style we did their first look outside of the Columbia in Ybor with the cool mosaics behind them that matched their colors perfectly. They had a beautiful ceremony at OLPH in Ybor before we headed to the Westshore Yacht Club for all the fun…….

The reception setup on the pool deck with the bamboo chairs, white and pink florals with champagne accents were perfection! Their favors are one of the favorites I’ve seen, they were a pizza slicer so everyone could take a slice of love with them. All of the toasts by Ashley’s dad, sisters, and best friend along with Derek’s brother were the sweetest. They really have the most amazing families that care so deeply about one another and also were so happy to celebrate Ashley and Derek. After the dances and toasts there were a couple little surprises! Ashley’s dad’s side of the family is from Lebanon so they had a little surprise to incorporate their family heritage. Sevdije is a belly dancer and she was amazing!!! It was such a unique and personal way to celebrate their family and everyone loved it and even joined in at the end. The second surprise was for Ashley and Derek, Angel had a singer (who actually is one of the servers at WYC) sing “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli and it was wow! Once the sun went down the party did not stop, Deleon definitely rocked the party. Such a stunning day of celebration, thanks for having us be just a little part of it! xoxoxo
