With its soft sandy beach, stunning waterfront views, and breathtaking sunsets, it feels like a little slice of paradise—just minutes from downtown Tampa. It was the perfect backdrop for Cristina and Carlos’ engagement session as they wanted to beach but also other natural elements.

There’s something so special about capturing a couple’s love story in the very place where it all began! For Elaine and Jesse’s engagement session, we explored the charming streets of Dunedin, Florida, revisiting the meaningful spots that played a role in their journey to “I do.”

With Nikole’s career at Marriott, choosing the stunning rooftop bar on top of the JW Marriott Tampa as the starting location was a natural fit. The modern and organic style of this chic venue provided the perfect backdrop to capture the excitement of their engagement. From the moment they toasted with champagne, it was clear this session was going to be unforgettable.

Jay and Kara’s engagement session was a celebration of love, laughter, and the places that hold special meaning to them. When it came to choosing a location, Feather Sound Country Club was a natural fit. It’s one of their favorite places to hang out, and it also reflects their personalities perfectly—relaxed, fun, and full of charm.

There’s something magical about engagement sessions that include not just a couple in love but their furry family member, too! Meg and Steve chose the picturesque Ballast Point Park in Tampa for their engagement session, and they brought along their adorable pup, Beemer, to share in the fun.

Planning a destination wedding is an adventure in itself, and for Annie and Ryan, it was a journey filled with memorable moments and a few unexpected twists. They are from Minnesota, they envisioned their engagement session at one of their trips to Florida, but nature had other plans. A rainy day led to a reschedule, and we turned it into a magical pre-wedding session during the week of their wedding!!

I always like to do waterfront sessions around golden hour, which is an hour before sunset, we started off with a totally overcast sky, giving us that soft, romantic vibe. But in true Florida style, as the sun was setting, the clouds decided to part. We ended up with the most incredible sunset.

We are thrilled to share Angela and Enrique’s engagement session in the historic Ybor City, Florida! This session was extra special for us at Carrie Wildes Photography, as we had the honor of capturing Angela’s sister Teresa’s wedding to David back in 2012. Reconnecting with this wonderful family and capturing another milestone in their lives was so special!

Nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida, Red Mesa Cantina exudes an ambiance of sophistication and charm, making it the perfect backdrop for Leslie and Siva's upscale cocktail-inspired engagement session. From the vibrant colors on the murals to the eclectic fusion of decor it all added to the feel and style of their session.

Jamie and Brandan's engagement session was a fusion of modern romance and pure fun, against the scenic backdrop of Julian B. Lane Waterfront Park. The live over on the East Coast of Florida, have family here so we coordinated when the happened to be in town for the Kenny Chesney concert (which, by the way, was absolutely amazing, I got to got too! We seized the opportunity for a morning session that promised breathtaking waterfront views and endless laughter. That first image is my personal favorite as it’s so candid and natural!

There's something undeniably romantic about the bustling streets and historic landmarks of downtown Tampa. We had the pleasure of capturing the love between Gisele and Israel for their engagement session that perfectly encapsulated the timeless allure of downtown Tampa.

Engagement sessions hold a special place in my heart, mainly because they allow me to encapsulate the individual essence and style of each couple. Caitlen and Sal embody a relaxed and laid-back vibe, opting for a casual and colorful style. When brainstorming locations, Tampa Heights immediately came to mind for its vibrant colors and intriguing textures adorning the streets and alleys.

Jamie and Brandon are gearing up for their big day in downtown Tampa next year, and let me tell you, they're up for anything! I discovered Jamie's passion for coffee and their shared love for Publix, so naturally, we started their engagement session at Shortwave Coffee in Channelside sipping java and soaking in the vibes through those big windows.

When I was planning locations with Casey for her and Wayne’s engagement session we landed on Ballast Point Park which is one of my favorites!! It’s kind of a hidden gem, with its enchanting dock extending gracefully into Tampa Bay and a canopy of trees casting a nostalgic, old Southern vibe over brick-paved streets, proved to be a dreamy setting. It’s also dog friendly which was a must so that their sweet pup MJ could be a part of it!

There's something truly special about documenting love in the very place where it thrives – home! Ashleigh and Steve's engagement session started with a cozy at-home session, capturing the essence of their relationship in the familiar and intimate surroundings they've built together. Of course including their sweet pup Luna!

Fort De Soto is a gem nestled amidst the Tampa Bay area, known for its pristine beaches, lush landscapes, and historic fort. Sarah and Nate wanted a chill, natural beach setting for their engagement session and one that is pet friendly as their sweet pup was a part of it as well!

Kyonna and David are eagerly anticipating their upcoming wedding, set for next May at the stunning Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club. Their love story is about to take center stage in a veune filled with breathtaking locations, some that since we won’t have time to do on their wedding day we used for their engagement session!

Ellen and Tripp's engagement session at Hyde House Public Studio was a perfect blend of elegance and love. Florida's heat led us to do an indoor location, where Hyde House's lavish decor and furnishings provided a stunning backdrop.
