Suncoast Wedding & Event Leaders is one of my favorite industry groups to be a part of here on the west coast of Florida. I had the honor of photographing the Summer Summit which was a day full of networking and amazing education by key industry leaders hosted by the Longboat Key Club.
Alan Berg (who’s kind of a big deal if you are in the industry you know:-) opened and closed the day focusing on business and pricing for profit with the strategy of A.R.T. Oniki Hardtman shared her expertise on destination weddings, and Kiva Williams talked about the art of storytelling and building a media presence. Kelly McWillams MCd the day and moderated a super authentic and hilarious panel on strategic hiring with Brittany Eagans, Sophie Robinson, and Shannon Tarrant.
I think it’s so important to take some time out of working in the business to work on the business and I know I walked away with some great pieces of wisdom and tools to implement as well as saw some of my favorite faces and met some new ones I hope to work with soon!
