Megan and Bill live in Arizona and are doing their destination wedding on the beach in Clearwater this coming December. Whenever our couples are destination, if we can plan to do their engagement session when they happen to be here visiting at some point before the wedding we always try to! They were here for just a couple of days and we had a sunset session at Cypress Point planned.

It was perfectly fitting that we did their engagement session at the gorgeous Philippe Park along with their sweet pup BJ in his custom bandana of course. I love that green flowy dress Dale chose along with Joe’s casual look was perfect for their waterfront location. And her shoes! They are super cute, she told me they were from Amazon so I ordered myself a pair in navy. They are just the cutest couple and we are so looking forward to their wedding this weekend!
Read MoreChristine and Rob live in Texas but are getting married here in Florida next May! I love when couples have a location for their engagement session that is sentimental and this location is an extra special one. Rob’s family lives in the Sarasota area and they have this really cool beach cabana where his family has always come to relax and enjoy the gorgeous beach. There was no one there but us and the turquoise blue water.
Read MoreBallast point is a hidden little gem right at the very end of Bayshore Blvd and where we did Darci and Russell’s engagement session. At dusk, there’s just a few minutes where the light on the city of Tampa in the distance and light where we were was even and it just looks spectacular with the calm water and pink tones in the sky. Gotta be patient but it’s worth it! I had so much fun hanging out with these 2, we even got a dolphin fin in the background!!
Read MoreNo one seems to know that that big white metal thing on Bayshore is! I always call it the big metal slinky so I finally googled it and actually it is called The Wave, an art piece created by Mary Ann Unger and installed there in 1989. It was created to frame different parts of the city as you walk around and look through it, as well as the rays of light and shadows it creates, pretty cool right? Per my search, Bayshore is also the world;s longest continuous sidewalk at 4.5 miles long, well done Tampa lol.
Read MoreLiz and Jory will be tying the knot in a beautiful garden next March. They live out by the beach, so Sand Key was the perfect spot for their engagement session. Their handsome little guy, Quinn, even joined us for some as well and he even helped me hold the off camera flash for sunset. I absolutely love these sweet moments with the 2, and the 3 of them. Couples who have kids ask me all the time if they should include their kids in their engagement session and I actually love when they do! I think it’s such a great way to help them be a part of the journey and celebration and you get some gorgeous photos as a family as well!
Read MoreAshton and Chris are getting married in just a few short weeks at Sacred Heart and the Centre Club!!! Ashton is from Tampa, and Chris and all his family will be coming down from Ohio for the wedding. The perfect spot that totally vibes with the wedding and is so “Tampa” is the lovely water front views at Curtis Hixon Park. You all know it’s one of our favs!! Ashton’s pop of pink shoes with that gorgeous ivory dress with Chris’ neutral outfit looked amazing with all the greenery and waterfront views. 5.14.22 they will become Mr. and Mrs. Koenig and we can’t wait!!

I love new places, and sometimes not even preparing, but just showing up and seeing what I see. Madison had this great little spot she sent me the coordinates to and it had awesome trees and tall whispy grasses that was just so pretty!! They are getting married at Legacy Lane Farm next October and their save the dates will totally set the tone as this is a different location but totally goes with the gorgeous outdoor vibe of Legacy Lane.
Read MoreThere really is no better place for an elegant, classic, black and white engagement session than downtown Tampa! I loved getting to know Caroline and Shane and their 2 adorable fur babies Leo and Brody, who also were in matching black ties. Golden hour was the best time for their session because the steps at Le Meridien are totally in the shade and you get that pretty golden light against the buildings downtown. We took advantage of all the pretty spots and how much these 2 adore one another!
Read MoreRoss proposed to Joanna while they were out on their boat in the bay, close to the St. Pete Pier. So while we were planning their session, the perfect spot was downtown St. Pete, and I love how the pier is just in the distance in the background. The light purple and blue they wore for the park, and the outfit change for the waterfront and a little bit of night time with the lights in the park looked amazing! It was so fun working with you guys!!! Here’s just a few of my favs!
