I’ve gotten to photograph Autumn and Collin's most important moments, starting with their engagement session over 11 years ago, their wedding, both their boys first years’ and this time their family beach getaway at Tradewinds Island Resort.

When it comes to capturing love stories, there's something extra special about photographing a couple at a place that holds deep meaning for them. For Natalie and Nathan, that place is Mandarin Heights in Seminole Heights, where their journey together began. It was a joy to photograph their engagement session at this unique venue, surrounded by the charm and nostalgia of their first meeting.

Melissa and Chris celebrated their love with an intimate destination wedding at one of our most beautiful beaches in Florida, Sand Key Beach. Surrounded by the serene beauty of white sandy shores and the gentle whisper of the ocean, they crafted a day that was both romantic and picturesque.

Planning a destination wedding is an adventure in itself, and for Annie and Ryan, it was a journey filled with memorable moments and a few unexpected twists. They are from Minnesota, they envisioned their engagement session at one of their trips to Florida, but nature had other plans. A rainy day led to a reschedule, and we turned it into a magical pre-wedding session during the week of their wedding!!

There are few things more special than capturing the bonds that tie a family together, and when Kristin called me about photographing their three generations together at Saddlebrook Resort I could not have been more excited! This session was particularly meaningful because this lovely family has a special connection with another one of our favorite families. We had the honor of photographing their friends' wedding years ago and their multi-generational family sessions here as well!

I always like to do waterfront sessions around golden hour, which is an hour before sunset, we started off with a totally overcast sky, giving us that soft, romantic vibe. But in true Florida style, as the sun was setting, the clouds decided to part. We ended up with the most incredible sunset.

It's always a special treat when we get to capture the next chapter in our clients' lives, and this session was no exception. We first met Tiffania and Laurence three years ago when we photographed their stunning wedding. Seeing them now as a family of three fills our hearts with joy!

It always makes me so happy to get to see how my couples’ families have grown over the years! I had the honor of photographing the Prichard family at Cypress Point Park in Tampa. Our journey with them began in 2011 when we had captured their engagement session and wedding. Fast forward to today, and it’s awesome to see how life has blossomed for them with their two kids, Anna and Luke.

On a beautiful summer day, we had the honor of capturing Sarah and Nathan's wedding at the St. Petersburg Woman's Club. The day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The festivities began at the club, where Sarah and her bridesmaids got ready. The elegant color palette of ice blue, navy, pale pink, sage, and gold accents set a dreamy tone for the day. Sarah’s mom and her bridesmaids helped her into her stunning gown, and then came a heartwarming first look with her grandmother, Meme, who looked radiant in pink.

We are thrilled to share Angela and Enrique’s engagement session in the historic Ybor City, Florida! This session was extra special for us at Carrie Wildes Photography, as we had the honor of capturing Angela’s sister Teresa’s wedding to David back in 2012. Reconnecting with this wonderful family and capturing another milestone in their lives was so special!

For so many it’s the last week of school for 2024 seniors!!! I had the pleasure of photographing Nathan’s senior photoshoot at the beautiful Philippe Park, a location that offers both natural beauty and a touch of adventure, perfect for showcasing Nathan’s love of cars.

In 2021, I had the privilege of photographing Tiffania and Laurence’s engagement photos at the picturesque Julian B Lane Park. Fast forward to today, and they are about to become a family of four! Since our last session, they’ve welcomed a furry friend into their lives and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby girl in just a few weeks.

When love is in the air, not even the fiercest winds can dampen its spirit. Ashleigh and Steve tied the knot at The Current Hotel in Tampa. Their color palette of black, white, and navy, accented with touches of greenery, set the tone for a chic affair. As Ashleigh prepared to walk down the aisle, she was surrounded by love and laughter, with her mom and matron of honor by her side, ensuring she was picture-perfect in her stunning gown.

Nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida, Red Mesa Cantina exudes an ambiance of sophistication and charm, making it the perfect backdrop for Leslie and Siva's upscale cocktail-inspired engagement session. From the vibrant colors on the murals to the eclectic fusion of decor it all added to the feel and style of their session.

As this school year comes to a close it’s such an especially exciting time for all the 2024 graduates!!! I believe what lies in senior portraits is telling a story of personality, passion, and dreams that are ready to begin unfolding! Kensington’s family is dear friends of ours and I have gotten to watch her grow up into the smart, funny, kind and amazing young lady that is she today, as she gets ready to graduate!

Jamie and Brandan's engagement session was a fusion of modern romance and pure fun, against the scenic backdrop of Julian B. Lane Waterfront Park. The live over on the East Coast of Florida, have family here so we coordinated when the happened to be in town for the Kenny Chesney concert (which, by the way, was absolutely amazing, I got to got too! We seized the opportunity for a morning session that promised breathtaking waterfront views and endless laughter. That first image is my personal favorite as it’s so candid and natural!
